We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented colleague who wants to work as an HR Compliance Specialist. This is a new role where you can help shape the role to ensure that HR processes and governing documents comply with applicable laws and regulations. If you already have experience developing HR policies in an organization, preferably international, this could be the role for you.

Job Description
We are looking for an HR Compliance Specialist who will play a key role in structuring and developing governing documents and processes to ensure compliance within HR. You will work cross-functionally with HR and other relevant parts of the business to strengthen and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
You will act as a data protection officer for HR, support mandatory reporting within the HR area, and take an active role in ethics and compliance work related to HR.
Your main responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct follow-ups and audits of HR processes to identify and minimize risks, including proactively providing concrete recommendations for improvements.
• Educate and support management and supervisors on compliance and HR guidelines.
• Investigate and handle HR-related complaints and compliance cases.
• Contribute to the automation and digitization of HR processes for increased efficiency and security.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant legislation and regulations and implement necessary adjustments within HR Compliance.
This is a new role that will evolve over time.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR, law, or another relevant field and approximately 5–7 years of experience in HR and/or compliance work, labor law from another company. Experience in similar work at an international company is highly meritorious.
To succeed in the role, you need very good knowledge of GDPR, and other governing regulations. You also have experience creating and implementing HR governing documents and processes. You have good analytical skills and can translate relevant regulations into practical solutions. Furthermore, you need to have experience of working with HR processes.
As a person, you are communicative, proactive, and business-minded. You thrive in an environment where you can drive change and ensure that HR work is characterized by clarity and quality. You have strong analytical skills and have the ability to translate complex regulations into practical and easy-to-understand routines. Furthermore, you enjoy working independently and you collaborate well with others.
You speak and write both English and Swedish fluently, and knowledge of the Finnish language is meritorious.
